Terms of Service
This bot helps players manage alliances, events, game information and multilingual conversations. These terms apply to the bot and web panel hosted by matthew.
Questions or concerns? Contact matthew@matthewzusa.dev.
1. Operator and agreement
The service is operated by an individual using the personal brand matthew. (“we,” “us” or “operator”). The brand is not a separate LLC or organization. The “service” means this hosted Whiteout Survival Bot V2 Discord application, its web panel and associated features.
By installing the bot, authorizing the panel or using a feature, you agree to these terms to the extent an agreement can lawfully be formed. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms cover this deployment; they do not govern independent copies of the upstream open-source software.
2. Eligibility and platform rules
You must meet Discord’s minimum age requirement: at least 13, or an older minimum where required in your country. If you lack legal capacity to agree, a parent or guardian must agree where applicable. Use must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, applicable game rules and applicable law.
These terms are between you and the operator. Discord is not a party to them and is not responsible for this service. Nothing here replaces or overrides Discord’s applicable terms or policies.
3. Features and your responsibilities
Features may include player-ID lookup and roster management, gift-code redemption, notifications, guides, calculators, reservations, event sign-ups, attendance records, Discord-to-game account links and translation. Availability depends on the permissions and settings chosen by the operator and authorized administrators.
- Only submit or manage information you are authorized to use. Do not impersonate another player or link someone else’s account without authorization.
- Do not use the service for harassment, spam, unlawful content, unauthorized surveillance, credential collection or access to channels you cannot read.
- Do not exploit vulnerabilities, evade access controls or rate limits, or interfere with the service or its providers. Report security concerns privately to the contact below.
- Never send Discord passwords, game passwords, login tokens or sensitive personal information to the bot.
- Server and alliance administrators are responsible for appropriate permissions, accurate records and informing members when they enable features that process or share member information.
4. Translation, linked channels and reminders
When administrators link language channels, new member messages in a linked channel can be translated and copied to the other linked channels. Copies identify the author and link to the original. Edits and deletions are synchronized when the bot receives the relevant Discord events; synchronization is not guaranteed during outages or lost access. Administrators must explain this behavior to affected members.
Private translation replies are intended to be visible only to the requesting user. You can use private translation instead of posting in a linked channel. To stop automatic sharing, avoid linked channels or ask an administrator to unlink or pause them.
Translations and calculators can make mistakes. Confirm important instructions, times and game decisions yourself. Event reminders may be sent to approved linked participants who qualify for an event’s configured reminders. To stop those reminders, change your participation where permitted, unlink the account through an officer, contact the operator, or use Discord’s blocking and notification controls.
5. Privacy and data requests
The Privacy Policy explains the information processed, the services that receive it, retention and how to request access, correction or deletion. Using a feature does not waive privacy rights that the law gives you. Removing the bot or logging out does not by itself erase previously stored records; contact us to request deletion.
6. Content and third-party services
You retain any rights you have in content you provide. You give the operator only the permissions needed to process, display, translate, transmit and back up that content to provide the features you request or an authorized administrator enables. This does not give us ownership of your messages or permission to sell them or train models on them.
The service depends on Discord, game services and other providers described in the Privacy Policy. Their own terms apply to their services. It is an independent community tool and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Discord, Century Games, or the publishers of Whiteout Survival or Kingshot. Open-source components retain their respective licenses.
7. Charges and optional support
No payment is required by these terms. If a separately offered paid feature is introduced, its price and applicable purchase terms will be shown before purchase. Optional support payments made through PayPal are handled by PayPal and do not create a service-level guarantee or entitlement to a feature unless expressly stated. Contact us about payment questions; nothing here removes refund or consumer rights that must apply by law.
8. Availability, suspension and liability
We may change, pause or discontinue features, perform maintenance, or limit access to address abuse, security issues, platform requirements or operational constraints. We will give notice when reasonably practicable. You may stop using the service at any time, and an authorized server administrator may remove the bot.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise of uninterrupted operation, perfect translations, successful gift-code redemption, accurate game data or particular game outcomes. Keep your own copies of important information.
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from unavailable or inaccurate features. These limitations do not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or any liability that cannot legally be limited, and do not restrict mandatory consumer rights.
9. Updates to these terms
We will identify revisions with a new update date and publish them here. Material changes will receive additional notice through the service or another appropriate method when required by law. Changes apply prospectively. If you disagree with a change, stop using the affected feature or contact us.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by applicable federal and state laws of the United States. Mandatory protections and rights that apply where you live remain available. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver or a specific court venue. Please contact the operator first so we can try to resolve a concern.
